I hate Covid

A friend lost his fight with covid today. When you get that kind of news, what do you say? Nothing you say will make the pain go away. I prayed hard for him to recover. He was a dad, friend, and someone’s lover. We’ve all watched the covid cases get higher. It doesn’t hit home until it’s your loved one covered in wires. These families that lost loved ones just wanted more late-night conversations. What I’ve learned is life itself is a beautiful creation. Be thankful for every breath you take without a ventilator. Stop putting things off till later. Cherish your loved ones and the time you’ve been given. Start being thankful for every minute. My heart breaks for everyone that is in a hospital room alone. I wished I could mend the broken hearts that were told I’m sorry your loved one has passed on. From now on, I’ll never look at the numbers in a statistic. Every person that represents that number was fantastic. They will be remembered for the warriors that fought. I will keep their families in my prayers and in my thoughts.
