My day started out with my amazing husband going to the store to pick up odds and ends. With COVID, we are trying to only go to the store twice a week. My husband goes when the store opens to avoid the crowds. I woke up when he got home, and I wiped everything down with a Lysol wipe before putting it up. Who is tired of COVID? I know I am. I'm so ready for life to go back to normal.
While putting things away, I sipped on some coffee. This chick doesn't do much of anything before coffee, lol. I vacuumed then started my work out if you could call it that. I have realized I'm not as young as I use to be. So today, I started out with the basics. I turned on my favorite music and did stretches. I did leg lifts and some other very basic exercises. I want to get in shape, but I know I'll have to take this slow. I took about 6 months off, so I need to ease my body into working out to avoid pulling muscles. If I do a little more each day, I'll get to where I need to be. It's okay to start from the beginning. It's important to cheer yourself on for each baby step you take. You can do anything you put your mind too. Keep dreaming and placing one foot in front of the other. Before you know it, you'll get to where you want to be. Have a fantastic day!
