Learn to Rest

If you’re having a down day, have it. Let yourself feel the emotions. It’s okay to break down and cry or scream. I’ve heard it helps to eat a big bowl of ice cream. Take a day to simply breathe in and out. As humans, we get worn out. We can’t be at the top of our game 100% of the time. Some days are going to be as bitter as a freshly squeezed lime. Admit it some days just stink. It’s normal for your emotions to sink. Tomorrow, get back up and do something worthwhile. It could be as simple as making others smile. Even a Superhero needs a day to wash and dry their cape. After you’ve recharged your batteries, you can scale walls and help others escape. Cartoons are fake, but you are real. That means every single emotion you will feel. When your gas tank is empty, it’s time to stop. Tomorrow you’ll be back on top.
